Here’s the second official trailer for the upcoming remake of the classic Total Recall flick that will hit theaters August 3. The first trailer gave us a glimpse of the remake, while this one gives fans and movie-goers a more in-depth look into the remake. Like the first one, the remake is a total action thriller that was inspired but the short story “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale” by Philip K. Dick, which blurs the lines between reality and dreams.
The last flick starred Arnold Schwarzenegger as a factory worker named Douglas Quaid, who decides to go on a “sleep” vacation at Rekall, a company that turns dreams into real memories. Well, this time, it’ll be Colin Farrell playing the part with Kate Beckinsale playing his beautiful wife who he loves. The mind-trip sounds like the perfect vacation from his frustrating life – real memories of life as a super-spy might be just what he needs. But when the procedure goes horribly wrong, Quaid becomes a hunted man and teams up with rebel fighters (one being Jessica Biel) to fight against the Chancellor Cohaagen, leader of the free world.
