To celebrate their 60th Anniversary of the founding of the first Porsche owners club, they’ve has created a special edition 911 Club Coupe that’s based on the 2012 911 Carrera S. Available in extremely limited numbers, the 911 Club Coupe is Porsche’s gifts to its hard core fans. The first Porsche was built in 1948, with the first official club, Westfälischer Porsche Club Hohensyburg (but now known as the Porsche Club Westfalen e. V.) established four years later. The movement took off and there are now 640 official Porsche Clubs in 75 countries with a total of approximately 181,000 members. Only 12 Club members will have the opportunity, through a lottery, to acquire one 911 Club Coupe each. One vehicle will remain at Porsche to honor the Porsche Club World. They’ll be priced at $175,580.
The special edition Porsche features a special Brewster Green paint job, SportDesign body kit, 20-inch wheels, and Club Coupe lettering behind the front wheels. Porsche has also added a ducktail spoiler to provide that classic 911design aesthetic. Performance improvements include a new Powerkit that adds 30 hp to the standard car’s 400-hp flat-six engine via a sports exhaust system; modified cylinder heads and camshafts; and a variable resonance intake. Also included are Porsche’s Sport Chrono package, PASM Active Suspension Management adaptive damping setup, and ceramic brake kit.
