How do you promote your product? Simple, you hire a very good looking and talented soccer player. Who are we talking about? David Beckham, who else.

Samsung, a sponsor of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, asked Beckham to reproduce Beethoven’s classic ‘Ode to Joy’ by kicking a series of soccer balls against a 15-foot wall of drums. Physically this was no problem for the star athlete, but behind every great achievement is an even better plan. That’s why he used the GALAXY Note, taking advantage of the handsets large screen to orchestrate the sequence. But as the saying goes, if a tree falls and no one is there to hear it, does it actually make a sound? To blast this magnanimous feat to his 17-million fans on Facebook, he used the stylus (the S Pen) to annotate photographs and post them to the social networking site.

Of note, Samsung will also be offering a Premium Suite upgrade for GALAXY Note users worldwide to provide a greater user experience of the device. The Premium Suite software package includes advanced note-taking applications, enhanced productivity tools, and an Android 4.0 OS upgrade. The update has started from Germany in May 10 and will be gradually rolled out in other regions.
