Cronus Gaming Adapter Makes PS3 Controllers Compatible with Your Xbox 360, Vice Versa
Heading to a buddies for a good old fashioned frag session of COD is a simple as making the commute. However, if he happens to be sporting a PS3 and you’re of the Xbox ilk, this will be a big enough deterrent to prevent such a visit. After all, there is no way you can show off your skills using that medelsome Playstation controller. Well, now that’s a non-issue thanks to the Cronus.
The Cronus is a USB dongle that can plug into any system and make any controller, from any console, cross compatible with one and other. That means you can use an Xbox 360 controller with the PS3, or even a Wii controller with a PS3, though the latter maybe a bit more challenging due to the lack of buttons. The Cronus requires that you own a Windows PC, such that you can program it accordingly with your specs, which can include a variety of mods for up to 9 games if you so choose.
Unfortunately, we don’t know when the Cronus will be available, but word on the street is it will cost between $50-60.
