$99 Xbox 360 Now Selling at Best Buy and Gamestop
So if you recall, and we’re sure you do, Microsoft began offering their Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Bundle for just $99. Course, the catch was, and still is, that you have to sign a 2-year contract promising to pay $15 a month for the duration of the obligation. At the end of the day, you end up paying slightly more than you would for a comparable system at a retail level. Great, especially if you don’t wanna throw down all that cash. Unfortunately, the deal was only available at Microsoft’s 16 retail locations, that is until now.
Starting today, participating Gamestop and Best Buy stores are now offering the $99 Microsoft Xbox 360 with a Kinect and an Gold Xbox Live membership. Just keep in mind the same early termination fees apply, meaning that if you want out early, you’ll need to drop a bucket of cash, all things relative of course. We’re still big proponents of picking up an Xbox 360 at Costco since you can return it in perpetuity, and then scoop up an Xbox Live membership off the interwebs on the cheap.
