Working from your kitchen, bedroom, living room – really any room in your home – is a bad idea.  Why?  You’ll soon associate the stress of your work with your abode, which is never good.  You won’t be able to relax, fall asleep as easily or enjoy the comforts of your home in the same capacity that you once could.  That’s why we fully endorse the Tetra Shed, a stand alone office designed for your backyard.

We really don’t know too much about Tetra Shed, but what we can tell you is that the outside can be finished in a wide array of colors and materials (copper, zinc, corten steel or marine plywood) and the interior can be lined with either birch faced plywood or plasterboard.  From the sounds of it, you can invest in multiple Tetra Sheds and hopefully connect them, though given their shape that isn’t likely, unless there is a second door.  In addition to a singular unit, they’ll sell a double module for additional space, ideal if you want more than just a desk setup.

Nevertheless, the Tetra Shed should go on sale later this year, though they haven’t indicated a specific date or price at this point.
