Until Spotify came along, we were pretty averse to the whole music streaming thing. And now that we’re using it everyday, we’ll probably never be able to stop. However, one major drawback of the service, and a question that everyone kept on asking, is where the hell is the iPad app. Sure, the iPhone app sufficed in the beginning at 2x (it needs work, though), but given that the company charges when you want to use the services on an iOS device, you’d think they would have made this a top priority.
Good news, because Spotify for the iPad is finally here! The interaface has been completely rethought in light of the larger screen, as depicted in the above product video, though have some patience, because at first it’s a bit misleading, in a good way of course. That said, you can try Spotify Premium for free for 48 hours just by downloading the app and logging in with your Facebook credentials. After that period expires Spotify will send along some details by email on how to extend the trial offer by 30-days, though we’re sure you’ll have to put in your credit card info at that point.
