Well Sprint customers, it looks like you’ll soon have your HTC EVO 4G LTE in your hands.  Today, Sprint said that they’ll begin shipping the phone to customers as soon as May 24th, which is this Thursday.  Unfortunately, it sounds likes, at least based on Sprint’s announcement, that the phone will only be shipping to customers that preordered the phone at this time.  So in all likelihood a full nationwide launch will be delayed until later in the month if not June, when inventory availability increases.

The HTC EVO 4G LTE is the Sprint version of the HTC One X.  It boasts a 4.7-inch Super LCD screen, Android 4.0, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera, 2000mAh battery, 16GB of storage and of course 4G connectivity.  It costs $199 on contract, but as always, expect that price to fall significantly following a nationwide launch.
