Cases, cases, cases.  It goes without saying, but there is no end to the variety of cases for the iPhone 4s.  They come in all shapes, sizes, colors and levels of protection.  However, most of them serve one utility, which it protect the iPhone from your butterfingers.  Some folks need the extra bulky case that could all but survive a bomb, while others just simply require a bumper to avoid scratches and dings on the face or rear of the handset.

The Quad Lock is a universal case that can be mounted on a bike, golf cart, wall or in a car.  That is to say it uses one case that has a universal fitting, known as the quad lock, on it’s back.  That means you can leave a mount in the kitchen that adheres to the wall using an M3 adhesive, one in the car and one on your bicycle without ever having to remove the case.  And because the case itself is no more thick than the Quad Lock slot, it won’t over encumber your pocket like some other cases, yet will still protect it from dings and bumps.

Now, in terms of mounting it your bike, the company says it takes just seconds thanks to the included o-rings, or minutes if you opt to use the included zip ties.  For wall mounting they’ve included 3M adhesives, though there are screw holes for a more permanent solution.  Regardless, in any mounting situation, the Quad Lock mount can be used in landscape or portrait mode.

Quadlock sells a deluxe case for $70 and a lesser version for $40.  They’ve also got an iPad version for $40.
