The iPhone, and smartphones alike, have all but negated the need to carry around a simple point and shoot camera. However, head to the Great Barrier Reef for a scuba exploration and you’ll want one of those waterproof cameras to capture the coral, fish and whatever other creatures lay beneath the ocean’s surface. Unless of course you’ve got the TAT7 iPhone case.
Now, before you roll your eyes in dismay about yet another iPhone case take into account that once you strap in your iPhone 4s, which mind you has an 8-megapixel shooter, you can submerge it to a depth of up to 100-feet. Not too bad considering it doesn’t add all that much bulk. Three tactile buttons allow you to return to the home screen, activate the shutter and switch between video and photo mode. And for those that ski or hike, the TAT7 is rated to survive in snow and sand, though you won’t be able to take a phone call unless you remove it from the case.
Checkout the underwater sample pics or the above video before you spend $85 on this case.
