It’s one thing to receive bills, it’s a whole other thing to open them.  After all, it’s bad enough receiving a massive bills from your credit card company, having to hack through the sometimes obnoxiously sealed envelope make us feel like they just don’t want us to pay.  If we had it our way we’d just run them all through the shredder, which in turn would absolve our responsibility to pay.  But alas, that is hardly reality or responsible.

The Samurai Sword Letter Opener should, at least in our tiny brains, make opening bills and those alike a bit more tolerable.  The miniature version of the full sized Japanese blade  features solid cast metal parts with antique bronze finish, real silver and gold accents, and samurai motif details.  Adding to its lux is the wooden handle that boasts a traditional katana wrap.  And to keep employees and bill collectors from crossing the threshold is the included wooden saya and stand so you can show them you mean business.  The dimensions of this not safe for flight Samurai Sword bill opener is 10.5-inches with a 6.5-inch blade.

You can pick one up from ThinkGeek for $19.99.
