Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover (video/pics)

It’s a cover.  No it’s a Bluetooth keyboard.  No, shut the front door!  It’s both.

Logitech’s latest, the Ultrathin Keyboard Cover, is both a Bluetooth keyboard and iPad screen cover in one.  Much like Apple’s screen covers, it protects the screen and wakes the tablet when opened or puts it to sleep when closed.  Sure, it’s way fatter than other iPad covers, but do they have a keyboard built-in with a battery life that last for up to 6 months when you use it for 2 hours a day?  Probably not.  It’s also finished in a piano black color.

Attaching it as simple as aligning the magnetic clips with the iPad’s body to use it as a cover, while a grooved slot serves as a stand to prop the tablet up for typing or watching movies.  Charging comes courtesy of a micro-USB port and for $99.99 they’re tossing in a cleaning cloth.  Preorders start today and we expect shipping to commence sometime later this month if not June.
