Braven Bluetooth Speakers

A2DP, as in Bluetooth audio, can be a serious battery drain on your smartphone. Braven is totes aware of this caveat and as a result has launched three new speakers all designed to charge your smartphone on the go and provide wireless audio playback.
The variation between models isn’t a vast aesthetic departure from one and other, though the Braven 625s is the most rugged of the three and sports the mid tier battery life of 16 hours. It also provides the luxury of an LED flashlight as well as a waterproof bag. The other two variants, the 600 and 650 boast a 14 and 20 hour battery life respectively and an all aluminum finish.
Packed inside all three speakers are two custom extended-range drivers and 3 watt output, complemented by left- and right-channel passive sub woofers. We’re sure the question on everyone’s mind is if it can set pace with Jawbone’s Jambox, which given its rather diminutive size can kick out some serious lows. And much like the Jambox, the Braven speakers are all speakerphone enabled allowing for a group of people to take a call without wires getting in the way.
The Braven 600 will retail for $149.99, the 625s for $179.99, and the 650 for $189.99. They expect to begin shipping by the end of June, though you can preorder them now.
