Who’s There Chair: Movie Myth Debunked

Needless to say, a everyday house chair will rarely prevent a perp from entering a room simply by propping it underneath the door’s knob. Why? Not enough tension and there is a good chance the chair’s back will snap in two if it’s made from a brittle substance.
Daniel Ballou’s Who’s There Chair is just the answer to debunk this movie set prop myth. First off, the back is made from reinforced steel tubing. Break that muscle bound freaks! There is also a small notch cut out of the back rest, which should provide the door knob with extra support. And lastly, the back lags are fitted with a set of pivoting feet, allowing them to cover more surface area and gain a better footing.
