Murdering plants is easier than keeping them alive; just neglect them. And while Easybloom’s plant sensor can help you evaluate your soil and what plant is best suited for your terrain, it won’t help you keep them alive long after you’ve placed them in the ground.
Enter Koubachi’s WiFi Plant Sensor. Jam this golf club looking thing into your plant’s soil and in a few day’s time it’ll act as a virtual EMT to your plant. Okay, so EMT might be a bit extreme, so how about a doctor. You see, its sensor measures the plant’s soil, temperature, moisture and light. That said, you’ll never have to guess when to water your plants or if they’re getting destroyed by the sun’s ray since it sends all the aforementioned measurements to their website, which can be accessed on your computer or smartphone.
Now, we know what you’re thinking: I’ve got 50 plants – there is no way I can afford that many of these at $160 a pop. Well, good news. The Plant Sensor can be swapped from plant to plant. Once you’ve accumulated enough data – and provided you don’t move the plant’s location – you’ll be good to go, at least for the season. And battery life is good for up to 1-year (it takes 2 AA batteries).
