Word is that you crazy folks collectively play Angry Birds 300 million minutes a day. Talk about a productivity suck! And lets not forget the health implications of all that sitting around.
Though Mbed’s intentions are anything but saving you from a heart attacl as the result of a sedentary lifestyle, that appears to be the impetus of this Angry Birds USB Slighshot. The apparatus itself is crafted from real deal wood, while the rest of it is composed an accelerometer, a rubber stretch sensor and an ultra-low-cost 32-bit microcontrollers that includes a USB.
On the linked page are step-by-step instructions on how to build your very own as well as the necessary coding to make the controller play nice with the game. Needless to say, it’s a butt load of work and not an endeavor that we’d suggest anyone undertake light heartily. However, if you have a serious penchant for Angry Birds, a large room, a projector and too much time on your programming hands, then you now have yourself a weekend project.
