Camelback’s Grove water bottle might be effective when it comes purifying water laced with lead, but microbes, that’s probably an entirely different story.  For that you need the Camelbak All Clear.

Using the All Clear is simple.  You fill the water bottle, replace the cap and power on the UV cap.  Agitate for 60 seconds and presto, you’ve got drinkable H20.  You see, the UV light kills 99.9% of bacteria, viruses and protozoa. A small LCD screen embedded into the cap lets you know when you’ve successfully completed a cycle and the cap is weather resistant ensuring that the UV light keeps humming in a down pour.  That is until you’ve used it 80 times or purified 16 gallons of water, where upon you’ll have to recharge the battery (the bulb is good for 10,000 cycles or 3 bottles a day for 9 years).
