Spawned in the horrendous heat of a Los Angeles winter, James was born with an incessant need to press buttons. Whether it was the car radio, doorbells on Halloween or lights, James pushed, pressed and prodded every button. No elevator was left unscathed, no building intercom was left un-rung, and no person he’s known has been left un-annoyed.

  1. i have been using Plantronics Marque M155 from last one year because i used to work in HeadSetZone and i get headsets at most discounted rates, i have not found any of these problems, everyone talk here in comments! but in my words this is an amazing Bluetooth Headset.

  2. Kenneth Collier

Trying to find the name of the app on play store that I have seen mention here that is used with the plantronic m155

  3. I purchased this bluetooth in march in march i use it everyday but the unit seems like the unit has weakened its not very loud during calls anymore

  4. Even though this device Plantronics M155 has great receiption, the transmission is not as good. It picks up all the ambient noice, however small it is, and transmits to the recepient. When my daughter called me when walking outdoors, I hear her voice very loudly even with most of the headset volume turned down. And the voice was distarted. With the TV turned on inside the home, the clarity is much worse. I am returning it today. I am not very happy with this headset.

  5. I just purchased the M155 and like the review find the unit it to be exceptional, distance in an office environment is no issue or drop in quality – I achieve 10+ meters, no drop outs, no static in fact callers don’t even ask “are you in the car” given the echo experienced in other headsets. I’m very pleased with my purchase along with the battery life.

  6. This product sucks. I wasted my money on two of them. They disconnect from my iphone randomly and I have to shut the phone off entirely to get them to work. The most frustrating part is that they continue to report being connected to the blue tooth. I need these to work as I drive a service route and one day I got so pissed I threw one one the ground and jumped up and down on it. Glad I did it, now I don’t waste time trying to connect the thing for an hour at a time.

    • I just bought this headset and have the same problem. The Bluetooth is weak at best. I have a much older Plantronics I was using up to the moment I paired this new one. With the old headset, I could be a room or two away from the phone and it would work fine, The phone could in my briefcase in the trunk of my car and it would work.

With this headset, simply putting my phone in my pocket on the opposite side of my body from the headset causes static and If I reach up to the earpiece and cup my hand to try to listen, it cuts out completely.

If I take my phone out of its case, I can walk about 8 feet away (line of sight) and it will start to cut out. Add a wall and it is a shorter distance.

I am headed to the store now to trade it out and see if I just got a bum unit.

    • i’m searching for the /(*$ driver because Windows 7 can’t find them and i’m wondering if there is any….and i don,t feel to wait 3 days to get my answer……sounds like i’m goiing to return my purchase soon

      • So finally I got it working with my Lenovo Thinkpad T420. Had to install the newest Thinkpad Bluetooth drivers. Afterwards I was installing the Toshiba Bluetooth stack (the install must be canceled because it did not find a bluetooth device; but the drivers are left there).
