Got a Portal fan in the fam? Don’t know what we’re talking about? Portal is a PC and console video game that shot to popularity about 4 years ago thanks to its unique puzzle structure. The game’s character must solve puzzles by teleporting objects and themselves into different rooms. As you can imagine, each room or puzzle becomes increasingly difficult, or so one would assume and incorporates a unique physics engine.
And hence why these bookends is a perfect ode to the game. The left bookend features the latter half of the player’s body entering a portal, while the right book end depicts the player exiting the portal. Even if you’re not familiar with the “Portal” series, it’s a pretty neat effect for a set of book ends, right?
Thinkgeek has them for $24.99.
