Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."

26 Comments to NeverWet Spray Makes Any Fabric 100% Water Proof (video)

  1. The product has flaws that they cannot overcome. It washes off in soapy water for one. Also, the oils on your skin nmay be a problem. Questions may also be on its toxicity. If it was any good for home use, it would have been out by now.

  2. Hey guys check out Ceracoat Ceramic…. They are based in the UK but have a great rep/distributor here in the states too… No affiliation, so I won’t leave a contact… but do research them and contact if interested. Use them in our outdoor store here in AL and have been very pleased with product and price.

  3. Sounds like a release agent used in electronics industry.  Similar products intended for design specific uses have entered the ‘consumer’ market as new, or nano and are nothing more than re-labelled industrial waste.

  4. Ross Technology’s has developed a 100% waterproof spray called NeverWet. But it’s not just waterproof, it’s superhydrophic

Well, since their product claims to make it impossible for water to touch the surface, your boat would simply free fall to the bottom of whatever body of water you are boating on =D

  5. Nanoparticles goes straight through rubber gloves and skin. Who knows how an internal organ will function with enough superhydrophobic nanoparticles inside it. My money is on “not at all”.

  6. “We can’t help but wonder what would happen if you sprayed this onto your skin?”
Great example of how irresponsible journalism can cause serious injury to those who don’t know any better.

  7. See this is very poor marketing.  I want this product now, I’m willing to pay for it now, but they don’t have it out right now for sale.  You know what that means?  It means I’ll forget about it, and even if I see a news article about it when it is finally for sale, I’ll just say “Oh, that’s old news” to myself.

So yeah, they just lost my money by announcing a niche product before it was for sale.  Take a leaf out of Apple’s fruit and at -least- offer a preorder of things when you announce them.

    • Not to mention ZERO information on their website about when/where/if the product will be available. Maybe this really is “vapor”ware. Mahahaha! Get it!? Cause of the… vapors…Fuck you!

      • I do not see a need for profanity but a real need for the product for clothing.  Come on NeverWet let’s get the product available to consumers.

I agree with you mate. They are taking the f*ucking piss now! You tell us about the product and not mention a release date! That’s just wrong!

It’s like a comercial about PS9 (PlayStation 9) but you don’t know the date nor if such thing will ever be released! :(

Comon NeverWet stop being a mug and just tell us

    • So by that logic do movies lose your money when you see a teaser trailer but it doesn’t come out right tommorow? Quit your whining and wait for it to come out jesus christ.

      • the persons logic is that their is no release date for such a desirable. When you see a movie trailer at least they say when its coming out as well its also usually in the next month or so.

    • Adrian C. Farris

I would agree with the marketing flaw.  This is not a movie trailer.  I would like the product now to coat clothing for motorcycle trips and ATV trips now.  This is April 6 the second quarter of the year.  Where can I purchase this product?????
