Update: A commenter pointed us to the correct product page. It’s a Kickstarter product and they’ve already received over $30k to develop it. Our hats are off to Alex.
Kids these days just can’t be satisfied with the usual assortments of toys that once satiated a generation prior. Instead of Laser Tag it’s a 12 hour frag session of Halo. So it’s some what appropriate to see the fish tank reach the next evolution.
Say hello to the JellyFish Tank. It’s designed specifically for those menacing, brainless critters and even includes a voucher for 3 of them in the $350 purchase price. For that kind of scratch you’ll get a full-spectrum energy efficient LED light, an air diffuser for maximum oxygenation, built-in biological, chemical, and mechanical filtration and a bubble channel to shield the jellyfish from the air.
To be entirely honest, we don’t know where you can buy this particular tank, but it’s far and away the coolest we’ve seen. Uncrate tracked it down but the linked page only features two tanks, neither of which are this one. But the good news is that there is a cheaper tank for just $250, though it looks to be far less fancy and aesthetically pleasing.
Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."
