Puukko Knife Holder: Knife Block + Magnetic Strip
The kitchen is often over looked as the hub for all things gadget or tech related when it comes to consumer products. However, it’s a bastion for some of the geekiest gadgets in the home. You’re probably thinking of blenders, high end toaster ovens, but we’re gonna take it a different direction and take a look at a unique knife holder.
This Puukko is the perfect intersection of a knife block and one of those not so pretty metal knife strips. It’s a slab of old-growth (300 years) Cypress infused with a magnetic strip. This keeps your blades neatly on display, and is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. They also offer a Redwood version if you’re not digging the Cypress.
