Coming this Fall is Klipsch’s Gallery G-17 Air AirPlay enabled music system.  It’s actually a speaker, but since it’s infused with Apple’s Airplay abilities you can wirelessly stream tunes to it, from any Apple device, over your home’s WiFi network.  Despite Klipsch suggesting that we set our music free, the Klipsch is anything but, costing a whopping $530 and requiring it to be plugged into an electrical socket to operate.  But despite those shortcomings, there is a high density resin cabinet, which is finished with a unique, twelve-step process that produces a piano black, high gloss luster and Klipsch’s Tractrix Horn tech for a wide dynamic range even the most discerning of audiophiles should be satisfied with.  The 17-inch long speaker can be wall mounted or placed on any surface using the included dark glass base.
