Camera — 06 June 2011

Most wouldn’t pay a few hundred for this 1923 Leica 0-series Nr.107 camera, let alone a few thousand. However, late last month an attendee at an auction paid $1.89 million US. Strangely enough it sold for a fourth of that a few years ago.
The camera is just one of twenty five. It is the only camera of its type to be know to have a “Germany” engraving on the top plate and is probably the first Leica camera to be exported to US shores.
