Most would never accuse a Leatherman tool of being lazy, but over weight with an array of tools that don’t ever get used, that’s a different story. Hence why the company slimmed down their next iteration of the handy tool and introduced the Leatherman 830850 Skeletool CX Multitool. The operative word here is Skeletool.
Unlike previous versions of the device, this one is much more bare bones, but places an emphasis on a usable, reasonably sized knife – with its own locking mechanism – that can be accessed without opening it. The five ounce tool also includes stainless steel handles with Carbon-fiber handle scale, a universal bit driver, pliers, wire cutter and a carabiner/bottle opener. Did we mention that it’s backed by a 25 year warranty?
You can buy the Leatherman Skeletool from Amazon for $65.
