Cell Phones — 04 May 2011

It’s official. HP’s Veer 4G will coming to AT&T May 15th for $99.99 on contract. Note the addition of “4G”.
AT&T says the phone’s footprint is the size of a credit card and no thicker than a deck of cards. It’s also the first phone on AT&T to run the latest version of webOS. When it arrives in the middle of the month you’ll be able to choose between a black or white finish, much like the iPhone 4.
Included is a 2.6-inch 320×400 touchscreen, 8GB of built-in storage, a full keyboard, GPS, Tri-band UMTS and HSDPA connectivity, quad-band GSM/EDGE, an 800mhz processor, WiFi, 5 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1, 910mAh battery and 3.63oz weight.
