Watch an iPad 2 Fall 500ft and Survive Thanks to G-Form’s Extreme Sleeve (video)
iPads aren’t designed to take a beating, but as we saw with G-Form’s Extreme Sleeve, it can survive a 12-lb bowling ball dropped from 3 feet. Still not convinced? Not a problem. The fine folks at G-Form are taking their sleeve’s protective qualities to new heights, literally. Using a paraglider they dropped the iPad 2 wrapped in their G-Form Extreme Sleeve from a 500ft drop. Did it survive? Probably safe to assume so, but to be sure we suggest you take a gander at the below video. The one dude is so excited, and perhaps shocked by the outcome, that he can hardly follow his co-workers direction. Safe to say this was their first and last attempt.
