HP Veer Launch Event Slated for May 2nd, Price And Launch Date Still Unknown
On May 2nd, HP will hold a launch party for the Veer, their 2.6-inch touchscreen phone. It’s not clear who the event is intended for, but one reader of Precentral signed up and was prompted with a message to bring along “ID badge or an AT&T/Best Buy Business card” to get in.
While we’re not sure when the Veer will actually launch, it’s probably safe to assume that May 2nd is just a launch event, and the phone’s retail availability – price still unknown – will come sometime shortly after.
The Veer, in case you forget, sports a 2.6-inch 300×400 touchscreen, an 800mhz Qualcomm MSM7230 processor, 5 hour talk time and full slide out QWERTY keyboard.
