Vita Audio R4i iPod Dock

r4i Vita Audio R4i iPod Dock

The R4i is one classy beast.  It’s got your requisite slot loading CD player, AUX inputs and iPod dock.  But what we really appreaciate is it’s slim, low profile design and the option to choose from a rich walnut, dream white or midnight black finish.  And let’s not over look the USB input, 80 watts of power, an integrated subwoofer and the ability to receive DAB, DAB+ and FM radio with RDS.

The company, Vita Audio, says they’ve developed their “own Class A-B amplifiers using discrete component technology”, something you generally only see on high end components.  And to further add to the allure the R4i is outfitted with a unique intuitive docking ‘RotoDial’ remote control.

Word is that you can grab it for a hair under $1,000.
