You can now consider the weekend of September 16th completely booked?  Why?  That’s when “Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Episodes I-VI)” releases on Blu-ray.  To be entirely clear, that’s every Star Wars movie under the sun.

The box set will include “three additional discs and more than 30 hours of extensive special features including never-before-seen deleted and alternate scenes, an exploration of the exclusive Star Wars archives, and much more.”

How much do you think this will set you back? $150, $100?  Try again.  Amazon is selling it for $89.99.  Not bad considering that it comes from the Lucas camp, which has been taking home our cold hard cash for over 30 years now thanks to the 6 part series.  Too bad they don’t have some sort of trade in program for all the DVDs and VHSes we bought over the years.  Though, those VHS tapes are probably worth something now, the DVDs however are probably best served as coasters.
