Home Theater — 17 March 2011

Walk into any consumer electronics store, spit, and you’ll hit an affordable home theater surround sound system. However, one thing that will sure to be missing is the THX Certification. Enter Logitech’s Z906 5.1-channel speaker system. It cost $399.99 and is available for preorder today.
It packs 500 watts of power along with a side firing 165 watt subwoofer for all the low and highs you’ll ever need. While it can perform Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS decoding on the fly, it does lack an HDMI input, so you’ll have to settle with 2 digital, 1 coxial and an RCA input. However, the satellites are wall mountable and there is an included wireless remote.
