The iPad 2 officially goes on sale tomorrow.  To celebrate this momentous occasion EA is having a weekend long sale with up to 70% off select games.  The list includes Madden NFL 11 and Mirror’s Edge, plus FIFA 11, ROCK BAND Reloaded, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, TETRIS, RISK, MONOPOLY, SCRABBLE, and Pictureka.  They’ll also be selling Dead Space (checkout our Dead Space review) for 30% off.

In celebration of the highly anticipated iPad 2 launch, EA just released a weekend-long sale of every EA game optimized for iPad, including Dead Space, Madden NFL 11 and Mirror’s Edge, plus FIFA 11, ROCK BAND Reloaded, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, TETRIS®, RISK, MONOPOLY, SCRABBLE, and Pictureka!.
EA’s high quality games will take full advantage of the iPad 2’s increased processing and graphics capabilities, improving the overall game presentation. Gamers will experience the ultimate in iOS gameplay.
Since the launch of the iPad, EA has been a leading publisher of games for Apple’s game-changing device. In the last quarter of 2011, EA and its independent-developer publishing arm Chillingo introduced 20 new iPad games alone.
The iPad 2’s lighter, thinner feel will make it even better for gaming and a faster processor will create even more dynamic game experiences, especially for action titles such as the critically acclaimed Dead Space, which was featured as the “iPad Game of the Week” on the Apps store.
