Oh how we miss the 80s.  The clothing, the music and more importantly the video games.  When the NES first sold it included a copy of the original Mario and Duck Hunt.  Duck Hunt by far and away was the most magical of experiences since the included gun, the Zapper, could be used to shoot the winged foes out of the sky.  For those of you with a penchant to investigate, you soon discovered that the second controller could be used to influence the direction of flight making the seemingly single player game a two player affair…sort of.

However, those days are behind us and we’re lucky if we can get our Nintendo to turn on.  But an ode to the once popular game is just $120 away thanks to an Etsy artist.  They’ve taken an old classic and applied a stationary “Duck Hunt” duck made from 1/4-inch salvaged book covers.  The bad news is that it’s been “sold”.  Yup, appears to be a one off, but the good news is they’ve got others, though they’re not quite as cool.
