Bam! Dell has now stuffed their 17-inch XPS laptop with 3D capabilties and the second gen Core i5 or Core i7 Intel processors.
While a 3D display, which requires glasses, is optional, each laptop includes NVIDIA’s GT550M GeForce 3D capable graphic card, which is compatible with an external 3D display. But the kick ass specs don’t stop there. You can choose between a 1GB hard drive or 256GB SSD, DVD burner or optional Blu-ray player, 9-in-1 media card reader, Bluetooth 3.0, 1x USB 3.0 port, HDMI output, optional full HD screen and an optional JBL audio system with 22 watts of power and a subwoofer.
Availability? Now. The new XPS starts at $899, but you’ll need to drop at least an extra $200 to score a built-in 3D screen, which still requires glasses.
