The Samsung Galaxy Tablet 2 arrived yesterday, but it won’t be called that.  Instead, it will be branded as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.  It will ship with HoneyComb, which will place it head-to-head with Motorola’s Xoom.  In case you didn’t put it together, it’s sports a larger 10.1-inch at 1280×800, which is probably just what the touchscreen device needed to remain competitive.   It’s powered by a 1GHz Dual Core application processor and includes 2 cameras.  Check below for the remaining specs.

Other specs:

  • 8 megapixel camera with LED flash
  • 2 megapixel front facing
  • 3.5mm headphone jack with support for a variety of audio and video codecs
  • USB 2.0 interface
  • WiFi a/b/g/n
  • 16GB or 32GB of storage
  • 6860 mAh battery
  • Size 246.2 x 170.4 x 10.9mm (599g)
