Motorola has released a 15-second teaser of its soon to air Super Bowl XLV commercial.  It depicts a bunch of white hooded, white ear buds zombies lurking in a cities underworld, more specifically a subway system.  One man stands alone and he happens to have Motorola’s XOOM tablet in hand – he uses an advanced version of Google Maps only offered on the Android platform to navigate his way top side.  He also happens to be reading Orwell’s “1984″.

In case you didn’t put two and two together this is clearly a dig at Apple in a multitude of ways.  In the 80s Apple released a commercial in the vein of Orwell’s “1984″ and Apple, which has long stood for individualism, has quickly become the norm thanks their white ear buds.
