We already knew that Motorola’s Xoom would sell off contract for $799.99. But what about those of you that are willing to sign on the proverbial dotted line? We now know that the Xoom will go for $599.99 after a 2-year contract signing. Verizon’s 3G data service will begin at $20 a month for 1GB, though other sites are reporting that you’ll be able to opt for their higher tiered data packages at an additional cost.
Remember, the Xoom will receive an update in the middle of the second quarter of 2011 that will make it 4G LTE compatible. It officially goes on sale February 24th.
