EA’s Battfield 3 will release sometime this fall and EA is teasing us with a tid bit of game footage released today.
For those of you willing to pre-order now you’ll receive the Back to Karkand expansion pack for free, which reimagines four legendary maps from Battlefield 2 boldly using the Frostbite 2 physics engine.
For those of you not in the know, Frostbite 2 engine is DICE’s next installment of their “cutting-edge” game engine. DICE says that it ”takes animation, destruction, lighting, scale and audio to new heights.” We’re just hoping you can destroy more objects and explosions, sounds and all the stuff we came to love in BFBC2 is just more compelling.
Checkout the footage below.
