Taurus Raging Judge Shotgun Handgun Has Perps Scurred

There is self defense and then there is the Taurus Raging Judge 28GA.  What is it?  A handgun that fires 28GA sized shotgun shells. It’s available in a blue or matte stainless steel finish and includes a “raging bull” cushioned grip to reduce the effects of recoil and a fiber optic front sight.  So be it a human or an elephant, you’re good.

Only one problem. It's NOT available – BATFE has disapproved it for general retail sale, because the law classifies it as either a destructive device or a short barreled shotgun.

Unless the BATFE has done this in the past 30 minutes this is simply not true.

When the BATFE retrenches to constitutional limits (probably not in my lifetime) somebody should work up a “Devil's Advocate” based on 16 gauge shotshells. Increase the bore from the nominal .663 to .666, put a 6.66 inch barrel on the beastie, use 16 gauge shotgun brass to load 666 grain slugs in these oversized rounds. Just be sure to have your health insurance paid up for when your wrist breaks and the monster bucks back and cracks your skull wide open.

An elephant? Quail, maybe. Remember, it's a 28 ga shot shell. This shot shell is intended for Skeet and small birds. If you want to use buckshot, it'll be a small load and you'll probably have to make them yourself.
This a self-defense pistol is for close quarters work only. Close in (3'-6'), it'd be devastating to bird or man.
I want one, even tho' I'd have to buy another MEC reloader.
