Samsung Series 9 Laptop Is Bringing Sexy Back To The PC (update)

UPDATED. Despite it being a PC, we’re absolutely in love with Samsung Series 9 laptop. I measures a svelte .68-inches at its thickest point and weighs a mere 2.9lbs. If this thing isn’t a Macbook Air killer, then we don’t know what is.

Much like the aforementioned competing Apple product, the Series 9 lacks an optical drive, but does sports an Ethernet port, USB ports, headphone jack, HDMI output and a Core i5 2537M processor under the hood. There is also a 128GB SSD for storage, 4GB of RAM, a 13.3-inch LED display, speakers with sub and a backlit keyboard.

Samsung hasn’t yet announced an official launch date, but we’re hearing the price will be in the $1,600 ball park.

Update: The Samsung Series 9 laptop will go on sale this February for $1,599.

Almost perfect. Shame about the screen resolution being 1366×768. That's lower res than my 13.3″ laptop from 2 years ago :-( (Lenovo X300). If it had 1440×900 I would be in line to get one as soon as it came out…

This Samsung Series 9 Laptop is better than Apple Macbook Air in every aspect. It is lighter than Macbook Air and it is also thinnest laptop in world. The price of this laptop is little bit higher than MAcbook Air but the samsung is better than Macbook Air so the price is judge for the feature.
