We just got finished publishing our review of Dead Space 2 for the console when we discovered that EA Mobile announced a version of the game for all iOS devices. EA says that this version of the game “features a distinctive storyline” that can only be played on an iOS device. Which means console players can download this version and still have a unique experience while away from their home theater setup.
Included in this version are two all-new weapons – the Plasma Saw and Core Extractor – plus three more weapons from the Dead Space universe. New weapons, upgrading power nodes, and suit packs are also available for purchase in-game from the contextual Store or Weapon Upgrade Bench. Lastly, there are up to six varied environments where you’ll battle Necromorphs with simple swipe and tap controls.
You can buy Dead Space right now from the App store for $6.99.
