Gunning with your PS3 has gotten one step closer to actual gunning, or at least will get closer once the Sharp Shooter Attachment begins selling in February for $39. Designed for Killzone 3, but playing friendly with other games as well, the plastic gun will have both a motion controller and a navigation controller in its body, letting you move and shoot from the comfort of your own gun.
Well, shoot, that sounded weird.
Anand Agarwal, Product Marketing Manger at PlayStation writes that the combination of movement, aiming and interaction will make for a very immersive experience, unlike anything felt before when shooting up virtual baddies.
With a reload button and realistic pump-action, you’ll find yourself mouthing your own movie-like sound effects in no time at all, while friends and relatives quote anti-gun legislation in your general direction.
