We just finished reviewing the Mophie Juice Pack battery pack for the iPhone 4 when low and behold they’ve already released a new one, the Juice Pack Plus. In actuality, it’s just a battery bump from 1,500 mAh to 2,000 mAh, which should equate to a few more hours of iPhone use, depending on what you’re doing of course.
The Juice Pack Plus sports all the same fixings as its smaller brother, which includes an on/off switch, LED battery indicators and the same protective casing that they say channels the audio to the front of the handset.
During our testing of the smaller Juice Pack we had a hard time getting a full charge on our iPhone 4, which we found very strange considering that it’s rated for 1500 mAh, 80 mAh more than the iPhone 4’s battery. We’ll see if we can get our hands on this one. Perhaps Mophie has made some tweaks to improve battery performance.
