ZipBuds: Zip Up Ear Buds Are Almost Hear

Earlier this year, at CES 2010, Digital Group Audio, the guys behind the wonderful and portable Livespeakr, showed us a very early prototype of their ZipBuds, otherwise known as Zip Up Earbuds. After the show it looks like they went back to the drawing board and further refined the product.

Today they showed us a teaser photo of the upcoming, and what we assume to be the final design of the ZipBuds. We don’t know when they’ll be available but logic says this holiday quarter.

The zipper looks like a pain in the ass to use. I don't see what's so special about these. I'd rather use my stock iTouch headphones.
