Retro Jet Bike (video)
It may not be a real Harley, but it’s definitely a rocket bike. Built by Bob Maddox, this creation currently hits 0-60 in about 5 seconds, though we’re hoping it can get going a bit faster considering it sports a jet engine (it’s actually two jet engines combined) that put out 250lbs of thrust. We’re not science folk, so you tell us if that is or isn’t a ton of power.
The bike runs on a mixture of regular fuel and air, which perhaps means that with the right mix it could lead to greater speeds and acceleration. It’s owner, the person that commissioned the bike’s build, hopes to reach speeds over 200mph. Is that really safe considering the seat or should we say lack there of?
