Take this one with a healthy dose of skeptism since we’re currently unable to verify it’s authenticity.  Though, if the inventors are reading this, we’d be glad to review the device.

Some rather young looking lads say they’ve invented an iPhone compatible device – it plugs into the dock of the iPhone – that converts it into a taser.  Watch the video and they’ll tell you a fully charged iPhone, with Bluetooth turned off of course, can deliver 90,000 volts of juice – not enough to inflict major harm.

To activate the taser you hold down “both volume buttons”.  And that’s where we starting scratching our heads.  Can the iPhone even register this command? We gave it a shot while in the home screen of the iPhone and either nothing happened or the volume went down one notch just as soon as it went up a notch.

So is it real?  Probably not, but they’ve crafted an entertaining and some what satirical video.  So have a look and perhaps even a laugh.

BTW, there site currently says that “they’re experiencing an overwhelming amount of traffic” and that online ordering will resume soon.
