Here’s a new spin on the good old ratchet wrench.   The now old school version of this product requires that you attach different sockets to the end depending on the nut size.  If you’re not an experienced craftsman, such as myself, you’ll discover the correct size by trial and error.  Frustrating?  Yes, at times, especially when you can’t read those tiny engravings for future jobs – that’s a different story all together.

World Tool has introduced a no name wrench that combines a ratchet wrench with an adjustable wrench.  Turning the dial on the back of the head increases or decreases the calipers and eliminates the need for a wide array of attachments.  The down side of course is that the calipers can only extend so wide, but that could be quelled by offering a larger wrench or multiple sizes.
