I can barely manage to water the three plants I have on my roof deck, let alone keep them alive. That’s why I need something like Docomo’s new Garden Sensor for my iPhone. Who knows, perhaps Easybloom will update their product with wireless capabilities?
This handy device inserts into your plants soil and measures moisture and sun levels. It then sends this data back to to Docomo via WiFi, whereupon a number of gardening experts will reflects upon the info and send you tips on how to groom your crop.
The sensors will be launched in Japan on a trial basis sometime next year and cost $20-30.
