If the exploding mass of green ectoplasm/light in the Razer Anansi MMO Keyboard doesn’t make you believe in its power, I don’t know what will. So stare at the photo and take this article for what it is – humble words that cannot compare to it.
The Anansi has seven thumb modifier keys below the space bar, which somehow combine with your usual key combos, multiplying the numbers of shortcuts you can comfortably use by seven. Seven may not seem like much to someone used to the astronomical numbers involved with MMO’s, but when it comes to keys, it’s a lot.
But multiply that again. There’s 100 programmable keys that you can record macro actions for, and 20 different profiles for the recorded keys, giving you about 2000 total macro combos for various games, as well as 5 dedicated macro keys on the right side of the keyboard.
Now, if that’s not enough, you can combine the Anansi Keyboard with Razer’s Naga MMO mouse, which will have you using the 7 thumb modifier keys in tandem with the 12-buttons of the mouse. If you can do that, you’ll dominate everything. And you’ll probably get a visit from a top secret military program recruiter, because really, how many people can handle that amount of buttons in real time?
