Apple — 08 October 2010
In news that is sure to male you rummage through the basement for old apple comuters, the Mac Museum of Franklin Park NJ was sold on eBay for $10,000.
The sale happened after a total of 20 bids, and honeslty, we would have expected a higher final price. The Museum has models like the Mac 128k, the Lisa, the Mac Plus, SE/30, Color Classic, Mac Portable, the TAM, and a whole lot of posters and assorted gadgets.
Now that he is no longer responsible for the Apple memories, curator Gil Poulsen wishes the new owner to make the collection more publicly available. But knowing how protective of their gadgets Apple aficionados are, fat chance of that ever happening.
